I have had many people ask me how to add a flower to the Madison Head Wrap so I thought I'd share my goto flower pattern with you. It is very easy to work up, the pattern is simple, and it can be easily modified.
Visual Anarchy's Simple Crocheted Flower
chain 5, join with slip stitch to form a ring
round 1: chain 1, 7sc in ring, slip stitch to chain 1
round 2: [chain 11, slip in next sc] repeat 8 times
**You should now have 8 petals
If you want another layer of petals continue with round 3, otherwise cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
round 3: [chain 8, slip stitch into the ring through the center of the next petal] repeat 8 times
cut yarn and weave in the ends.
For an extra special touch attach the flower to your headband with a sweet vintage button!
