Quick Easy Shrug

This was a very fun shrug to knit up.  I used a bulky yarn (the girl chose Lion Brand Jiffy-- the color is El Paso) and size 10 and 13 needles.


If you want to make your own here are the basic directions

CO 35 sts
1x1 rib for 1/2 inch
Place a thumb hole (by adding in a yarn over) 9 sts from edge
Knit 2 together on the next row where you added in the yarn over.

Continued in rib until it measures 2 inches
Change to size 13 needles
Continued in seed stitch until desired length
Repeated rib
Use mattress stitch to seam the ribbed sections

The Davis Cardigan

I just finished the Davis Cardigan. It is done top down. I made it with wool from my stash, but I love the blue and gray. I think I will remake it using Knit Picks Swish.
